Lead follow up

Dataset

SALESFORCE · WORK IT OUT

LEARN THIS FIRST

A lead records a potential customer before the sales team has confirmed qualification. Its status tracks the conversation.

See a small example

A prospect requesting a call has shown interest, but may not yet meet the team qualification criteria.

Common mistake

Interest alone does not prove budget and fit.

Now try it

Beacon Studio 101 replied asking for a product call, but budget and fit are not confirmed. This practice team uses New before contact, Working during an active conversation, Qualified after budget and fit are confirmed, and Unqualified when there is no fit. Save the correct status.

This is a fictional practice company. Your changes affect this exercise only.

A small hint +

Use the documented evidence. An active conversation alone is not qualification.

You don’t have to get it right the first time.
